OUR FUNDS ARE DESIGNED TO MAKE A MEANINGFUL AND DIRECT IMPACT

ABOUT US

The Burma Impact Fund was founded with the goal of supporting individuals and organizations in every facet of Myanmar society that are in dire need of essential resources. Since the February 1 coup by the State Administration Council, an estimated 250,000 people have been displaced from their homes as of May and many more lack subsistence. With your generosity, we aim to distribute funds to Internally Displaced Persons, refugees, and marginalized ethnic minorities. The road to democracy is an arduous one, but we aim to act as a safety cushion for those who have lost their livelihoods in pursuit of it.

IDP RELIEF FUND

Fund the purchase of essential supplies such as food, nutritional supplements, tarpaulins, hammocks, and medicine for low-income families and internally displaced persons who have fled conflict and sought safety in the harsh jungles of Myanmar.

CDM FUND

Fund the brave government employees and university staff who have refused to legitimize the SAC by heroically joining the Civil Disobedience Movement. They have refused to return to normalcy under the iron fist of tyranny and as a result, they are persecuted for it. In the absence of responsible government, we are obligated to support those who have given up their livelihoods for the greater good.

IJ FUND

By contributing to the Independent Journalism Fund, you are supporting persecuted journalists from media outlets in Myanmar that are enduring a crackdown by the State Administration Council. These brave journalists put their lives in danger everyday in order to get the news to the world but ever since the SAC outlawed them, their revenue streams have dried up and they need your help to keep the world updated.
