The Medium Through Which We Realize Our Vision for a Better Myanmar

IDP RELIEF FUND

Since February 1, internal conflicts in Myanmar have displaced 230,000 civilians according to the Norwegian Refugee Council and the UNDP projects half of Myanmar’s 54 million population to fall into absolute poverty by 2022. Needless to say, countless people are in dire need of essential supplies and nourishment.

The Burma Impact fund has partnered with 4 nonprofits on the ground to distribute emergency aid - namely food and medical supplies - to internally displaced persons and low-income families all across Myanmar. Each of the 5 nonprofit partners will receive 25% of the proceeds and will provide aid to negatively-affected communities in their respective geographical regions.

We assure you that your contribution, no matter how small or large, will go a long way. Our partners cover most of the operating costs out of pocket, are located throughout conflict-stricken areas of Myanmar, and are extremely cost-efficient in their purchase of goods. Our partners consist of extremely brave volunteers who put their lives at risk every day to deliver emergency aid to those who need it the most, no matter how dangerous the environment may be.

Amid a civil war, floods, and a crackdown, the people of Myanmar need your generosity now more than ever. 8 US Dollars can be the difference between whether or not a family eats for a week. Together we can give hope to a population devastated by war and hunger.

Partner 2: Anonymous Social Enterprise

Partner 3: On the Ground Mutual Aid

Partner 4: Skills for Humanity (S4H)

CDM FUND

Fund the brave government employees and university staff who have refused to legitimize the SAC by heroically joining the Civil Disobedience Movement. They have refused to return to normalcy under the iron fist of tyranny and as a result, they are persecuted for it. In the absence of responsible government, we are obligated to support those who have given up their livelihoods for the greater good.

IJ FUND

By contributing to the Independent Journalism Fund, you are supporting persecuted journalists from media outlets in Myanmar that are enduring a crackdown by the State Administration Council. These brave journalists put their lives in danger everyday in order to get the news to the world but ever since the SAC outlawed them, their revenue streams have dried up and they need your help to keep the world updated.
